Hello friends, welcome here...I'm so glad you've popped in today! The inspiration mood board from the Inkspirational Challenge is FABULOUS!!! Look at all the yummy goodness that you can choose from ~ well, I've been wanting to play with my strips of scraps lately and so I couldn't wait to get creating using the macarons (yum is right) as my starting place!
So I am grabbing the fabulous macarons above as my color palette for my strips of scrap CardStock ! And these colors just scream SPRING !!!! Bring it on !!! I'm SO done with winter this year!!!
I'm also jumping in on the Seize The Birthday Challenge as well ~ I need a spring Birthday Card, so how perfect is that!!
Now how can you have spring without Ice Cream...it's a food group for me!!! I LOVE Ice Cream. Heavenly Hash, Espresso Flake, Georgia Mudfudge with a scoop of score ... do I have you craving Ice Cream yet ???
And challenge # 3 comes from the wonderful Freshly Made Sketches#579 ~ this sketch is PERFECT for the card that I'm wanting to create ~ now I did flip this sketch in portrait orientation!
Now the background of my card represents strips from my bin and my colors are the yummy macarons from the above challenge! The colors of each strip beginning with the top right side are, Early Espresso, Cajun Craze, Polished Pink, Petal Pink, Mango Melody, Granny Apple Green, Coastal Cabana, Pacific Point, Very Vanilla ~ this was my interpretation of the layer of macarons!
