Well, I've been MIA ~ our son and family are in town for a week and I have the night as they are away, 
so I thought I'd do a quick little hello, blog post ~

I did need a masculine Birthday card as we have a very close friend who is celebrating this week ~ 
 I quickly dug through my Pre-order and grab a few stamp sets before we headed to the LakeHouse for the weekend ~ and here is a super quick and easy card that I created using the Reflected in Nature stamp set and In Good Taste DSP!!!


I love creating cards using the Z Fold and this one came together in about 10 minutes...which was perfect ~  as we were heading out the door to wish our friend a Happy Birthday!

Hello friends and I want to wish you a Blessed Happy New Year!!!  A year filled with love, hope and peace!!! And I want to welcome you here, to the first Technique Tuesday of the year.  The call for this Technique is using the Brayer!  Oh boy, I haven't used my Brayer in years...so here we go!! Did you see this new Embossing Folder?  It's from the new Adoring Hearts Bundle and wow!!! what a Bundle this is, we have the Stamp Set, Embossing Hybrid Folder, and the Dies, that work with the Embossing Folder.  So whenever you have an Embossing Folder, that is Hybrid, well, that means you Die Cut and Emboss at the same time...Easy Peasy and AMAZING!!! So what I did was, with my Blackberry Bliss Stamp Pad, I inked Brayered the inside of the Embossing Folder, then carefully laid the Die into the Embossing Folder, placed a 6" x 6" piece of Basic White CS, into the folder!  Ran that through my Cut & Emboss Machine and voilà Stampin Dimensionals behind these sweet hearts and

I just love this new Stippled Roses Bundle!!!  I grabbed by Bubble Bath & Lost Lagoon Stampin' Blends and got to some coloring, which I do LOVE to do!! I ran that through my Cut & Emboss Machine once my Blending was complete, placed Dimensionals behind, out with the Simply Elegance Trim, which is fact just that!!!  I love this Trim...it is a must have in your studio!
