Little Ladybug & PP475

I'm so blessed to be able to play in my studio ~ it's been a long year of tests and treatments ~ I have two more appointments in February and hopeful for a clean bill of health ~ I do covet your prayers ~ God is so good and He's got me in the very hollow of His hands ~ no matter what!!
Now on to my post ~ I loosely followed the sketch as I didn't want to copy what the fabulous Design Teams gals showcased!...but I KNEW I wanted to play with my Little Ladybug Stamp Set along with the coordinating dies!!!  Sketch is brought to you by the Paper Player 475 ~ so much fun!!!




Here is my card ~ I sure hope I'm okay with the sketch ~



My panel is Cherry Cobbler and the Stampin' blends that I used are Calypso Coral, Cherry Cobbler & Old Olive, once my colouring was done, I added some Wink of Stella to my flower and Ladybugs ~ such a sweet and fun stamp set!

How do you decide what stamp sets to let go of once they retire?  I really struggle with thinning out my stash and would LOVE some feed back on how and when you say good-bye to your Stamps!!!

Technique Tuesday, Adoring Hearts ~ #denisewillerton #stampinchezmoi #stampinupcanada

Hello friends and I want to wish you a Blessed Happy New Year!!!  A year filled with love, hope and peace!!! And I want to welcome you here, to the first Technique Tuesday of the year.  The call for this Technique is using the Brayer!  Oh boy, I haven't used my Brayer in years...so here we go!! Did you see this new Embossing Folder?  It's from the new Adoring Hearts Bundle and wow!!! what a Bundle this is, we have the Stamp Set, Embossing Hybrid Folder, and the Dies, that work with the Embossing Folder.  So whenever you have an Embossing Folder, that is Hybrid, well, that means you Die Cut and Emboss at the same time...Easy Peasy and AMAZING!!! So what I did was, with my Blackberry Bliss Stamp Pad, I inked Brayered the inside of the Embossing Folder, then carefully laid the Die into the Embossing Folder, placed a 6" x 6" piece of Basic White CS, into the folder!  Ran that through my Cut & Emboss Machine and voilà Stampin Dimensionals behind these sweet hearts and
