Stampin' Chez Moi

I needed a birthday card for my brother's 50th birthday and I love playing along with challenges which also gives me a starting point! So a hunting we did go!...and here are the two challenges that worked SO well for me ~ thanks so much for the inspiration and a great place to begin! The first challenge I found was the Friday Mashup ~ and their challenge was any past challenge which was great, so here is where I began! Perfect for a Manly birthday card for my brother!!! Now, can I find a color challenge that I like to go along with the idea that was brewing in my mind...and here is what I found at the PPA154  ~  my attempt was to use the Raspberry Ripple and Calypso Coral to give my truck an old rusty feel, I'm pleased with the outcome! I had some wonderful gals over the other night and I began another card challenge that I wanted to enter! The Mojo Monday and Dynamic Duo looked like the perfect starting point for me ~ and I was SO challenged, I'm not too sure if my mojo got up and went or if I'm too used to creating on my own and without the company of my fabulous friends! So I really struggled with this card and I'm still not too sure how I feel about it ~ but here it is none the less! First with the challenges that I entered! And here is my card! What a wonderful evening I've had ~ we seem to be running lately and then this fabulously quiet evening was ushered into my presence ~ oh, what to do??? so I ran downstairs into my studio and played! First I hunted for the challenges that I wanted to join, found those and then grabbed my two new dies from MFT that I ordered at Joan's Garden ! Oh what a beautiful evening ~ music playing and just a relaxing time of creativity....and I found myself thinking....this is what it feels like, and oh how I'm loving my time! So here are the two challenges ~ Mojo Monday and I went with the square version!  and then grabbed the colours from The Play Date Cafe ! and then grabbed the colours from The Play Date Cafe! Tangerine  . . .  Apricot  . . .  Mint So out came Tangerine Tango, Apricot Appeal & Green Galore...these colours were the closest that I could find to go along with this! And my card!!!
