Stampin' Chez Moi

Good afternoon! Well I have a confession to make! I'm a hoarder. Yes, that is correct ~ I hoard.....DP...... and so today....I broke free and grabbed a sheet from Cottage Wall (I know...I've had it forever) ~ well I cut it to the size that I needed, just a small gasp as I placed snail on one side (and it was such a sweet design)....I placed it down....and I survived! hmmmm, maybe I can do this!!!  What a great day to create, it's super chilly outside and now it's raining, so glad I was able to get some gardening done yesterday. While I was outside, I snapped a few pictures of the trees if the front, they are absolutely stunning and in full bloom ~ the picture doesn't do it justice, but I'd like to show you anyway! If you take a closer peek, you can see some of my flower pots on the front step ~ we've had frost for 4 nights in a row!!!! yikes ~ summer is coming...correct??? I had a workshop the other evening and it was SO fun to be back in my studio ~ so I was hunting around for a challenge to enter this morning and found two that would be perfect for a masculine Birthday Card. Here's a peek at the two challenges that I brought together! A La Card Monkey was a birthday challenge ~ PERFECT!!! and now the hunt for the colors that I needed to go with the stamp set that I had in mind.... .... Perfect Picture Creations #59 ~ Perfect Once Again!!! So while everything seemed to be going Perfect, why not take a picture of my creation outside on this Perfectly Beautiful Day! Well the girls (or as my little grandsons says, 'the ladies'), came over for a BBQ a few weeks ago. We had so much fun visiting and sharing a meal! My friend Lisa brought dessert and you really need to she her creation. This girl is amazing, she's game for anything...if she get's an idea, she'll just go for it...well, here is a shot of an idea that she had and....I'll let the picture tell the story! So the chocolate bag that Lisa created obviously spilled over, the fruit scattered across the plate, and the chocolate butterflies landed all over them. AMAZING Lisa! It was SO yummy! Well I'm sorry that I don't have anything created to show you....well the cardstock kind...but here is a creation that is still in progress! The furniture has been returned to it's proper corners and now I'm busy dusting, placing and having a blast! This week will consist of gardening during the day *smile* and finishing the move, in the evening....and once my evening chores are done....I'll be back in my studio *smiling again* Here's a little peek at the dining room, the floors are amazing ~ we are so pleased with the workmanship that has taken place in our reno! I'm back...well, mostly back...now we need to put the house back together, but in the mean time ~ I was able to create and post ~ I found these fantastic colors at Paper Players challenge #46  ~ and enjoyed myself so much putting this together ~  ~ Here's a shot of my card along with the inside ~ This is a super quick post as I've got family coming for pizza and piano/organ moving night ~ it's called dinner with a purpose!
