Happy New Year!

What a beautiful evening we shared with dear friends yesterday. We've been getting together for New Years Eve for 15 years or so (as well as throughout the year). We are so blessed!!! First we sat down for dinner, then had a rousing game of Canasta...and Judi & I kicked some serious butt last night...it's been awhile since it's been our turn to win, so it was pretty sweet to say the least! We then all decided that we just wanted to sit and visit and Judi & I pulled out our knitting needles...talk about a relaxing evening, it was fabulous!  Judi & I have always exchanged gifts, but decided that we both have everything we need/want and so opted to nix the gift portion of our time....but I still HAD to make a card and what fun I had creating this just before they popped in for the evening.
I found two great challenges that I wanted to play along with and got to work...or should I say play! Friday Mashup challenge 39 was calling for a Shiny New Year....perfect, thanks girls!!! And then I found this wonderful sketch over at Stamping 411 and so away I went. These challenges are wonderful and if you never played along with these gals, you really should join in the fun ~ Happy New Year Girls and thanks!
So here is the card that I created for Judi

As you can see, I followed the sketch quite loosely, I hope that's okay girls?
And a quick shot of the inside....

So rather than a gift, I printed 3 bucket list wishes for Judi & I...I can't wait to start knocking those off ~
Does anyone have any bucket list items...mine seems to grow larger each year rather than smaller!

Oh....Austin also wishes you a very Happy New Year too!!

Thank you so much for stopping by today, I hope you have a wonderful day and all the best in the coming year to you and yours and so, from our family to yours...Happy New Year and may God bless you with His wonderful presence throughout the year!

If you live in Winnipeg or the vicinity and would like to host a party I would love to come and stamp with you and your friends!! Or, if space is an issue, come here and create with me at one of my many clubs or classes! Drop me a line for further info! I'd love to meet you! Enjoy your day!
